COVER UNCOVERED: Vogue December 2013

One of my favorite scenes in "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" is when Marilyn Monroe's character discovers the existence of tiaras:  "I just love finding out new places to wear diamonds!"  The cool part about this is that you don't really need a million dollars to do this - just pull out any strings of sparklies you have sitting around, pin 'em in, and you've got the exact same look.

This, btw, is Georgia May Jagger, the daughter of Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall.  She came of (model) age (13) at the same time gap teeth became a hit, and she's been working consistently ever since.  Since these girls are known for one thing (the gap in their teeth), they almost always pose with the same mouth-agape expression you see here, which I feel really limits their range.  Also, every time I see it, I think of one thing:  mouth-breather.

Case in point, here she is again.  I didn't recognize her with her mouth closed, having never seen it that way before.
